Answers first; a person if you still need one.

Sunprint is a shared camera for an event. Guests shoot during the event, the photos stay sealed, and at the reveal time everything opens at once into one album. Most questions come down to that.

Common questions

How do I join a film?

The host shares a six-character code, a QR code, or a link. Scan the QR or open the link and the camera opens in seconds — no account, no download needed. Or open the Sunprint app, choose “Join a film”, and type the code.

Why can’t I see the photos I just took?

That is the point of Sunprint. Every capture is sealed until the reveal time the host set — usually the end of the event. Then everyone’s photos unseal together into one shared album. Until then, nobody can see them, not even the host.

How many photos can I take?

Each guest gets a fixed number of shots per film, set by the host (up to 20). The counter on the viewfinder shows what is left. A shot is spent the moment you press the shutter, so make it count — that is the film feeling.

My upload failed. Did I lose the shot?

In the app, no: captures wait in an on-device queue and retry when the connection comes back. In the browser camera the shot is uploaded immediately; if you close the tab mid-upload it may be lost, so keep the page open until the tick appears.

Can I add photos from my camera roll?

No. Sunprint only takes photos captured live during the event window, which is what keeps the album honest. Photos from before or after the event cannot be added.

Can I take a photo down?

Hosts can remove any photo from their film’s album. Guests can ask the host, or write to us and we will remove it.

How long does the album stay up?

12 months from the event date, downloadable the whole time. After that it is archived rather than deleted; the host can ask us to restore it.

What do purchases cover?

A film is free for a small group. Larger guest capacities are one-time purchases through the App Store, applied to one film. Shots per guest are not sold — the cap is the same for everyone.

How do I get a refund?

Purchases are processed by Apple, so refunds are requested from Apple: go to reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in, and choose the purchase. We cannot issue App Store refunds ourselves.

How do I delete my account?

In the app, open Settings and choose “Delete account and films”. This removes your account, every film you created, and every photo, video and voice note in them — immediately and permanently.

Does the App Clip work without the app?

Yes. Scanning a film’s QR code opens a lightweight App Clip with just the camera and the album. You can install the full app later if you want to host your own film.

Still stuck?

Write to furkankar6@icloud.com. Include the film code if your question is about a specific film, and the device and iOS version if something is not working. We reply within two business days.
